The story behind the coffee

In the village of Ihombe, Tanzania, this coffee was born from a cupping session between friends , which led to the Mwankumbi Cooperative . Since 2016, it has grown from 44 to 161 dedicated smallholder farmers who specialize in processing washed coffee. The farmers care for their beans at home, then take them to quality control collection points .

From the first harvest of 15 tons, the community has grown, reaching a harvest of 94 tons by 2021. They manage every process – from the mill to the sale – with great care and a spirit of togetherness.

The Brew Company's passion for coffee goes beyond taste - the company is committed to ethical and responsible manufacturing practices at every step. The packaging is made made of kraft paper with minimal CCP lamination , which is aluminum-free and does not include a plastic gas valve. In addition, The Brew Company is proud to CO2 and plastic neutral .
